Time Buddy – Customizable Time Zone Converter Android App Review

Time Buddy is essentially a ‘Time Zone Converter’, which offers both digital and analog views of the time zones in different parts of the world. The app comes in handy when you want to look up accurate time time zones in a colorful interface.

When you launch the app initially, it shows your current time zone in analog format. Tap on the clock and it will flip to show the digital format of time in 12 hours and 24 hours formats. It also shows military format of time, which adds to the uniqueness of the app.

The app has a neat, minimalistic interface and using it is a breeze. It has an extensive database of hundreds time zones across the world for you to choose from. To add timezones, all you have to do is tap on the (+) sign at the top-right corner of the screen and you can see alphabetically listed time zone. Type the time zone of your choice in the search bar and select it to view its current time on the screen. You can view at the most four time zones on the screen at a given time but there is no limit to the total number of time zone, which you can add. Swipe left and you will be able to view the timezones in the next screen.

The best feature of the app is that it is customizable. You can easily customize the time zones according to your preference(s). Tap on any one of them to switch between analog and digital time formats. The same action also results in changing the color of the selected time zones. Deleting the time zones is equally easy; simply long tap on any time zone and you will get the option to remove it.

The app includes in-app ads, which you can remove by tapping the settings button at the top-right corner of the screen. Select the Remove Ads option and it prompts you to purchase the Premium, ads-free version of the app. You can also view Help and Restore Purchase options in the settings tab.

Time Buddy also comes with a colorful widget for your homescreen, which changes colors randomly with default time zone.
